THIS EP USED TO BE CALLED SOMETHING ELSE
Yep, it's that time of year all over again. Another thrown together, quickly produced, loose collection of music from The Entertainment. This time around the carousel, we've got more of the same quality lyrics, instrumentation, and bored singing you've come to know and love, as well as some new features, like whistling. That's right, the worst possible thing to do into a microphone, right here in full, annoying as hell glory! What a value!
It took me about 2 weeks to put this thing together, but that doesn't mean I didn't record a few of these songs literal minutes before releasing the album. Because of how professional I am. I really hope the production isn't too shitty on this thing. It turns out that producing music is super hard, and I am not very good at it. Not that there's a lot to work with when you record everything on a single track, but still. Hope it's not too bad.
I guess the whole "release a song once per month" thing is out the window. Oh well. I got some advice pretty much right after posting that about waiting until I've got something substantial before releasing anything. So here's the new plan:
Every 4 months until 2018, I'm going to release an EP with at least 4 songs on it. I know, I know, 4 months is far too long to wait for new content from your favorite band, but hey; I write slowly. I need that long to get things together. I mean, it took me that long to make this, and look how that turned out. But honestly, I just need a deadline to help me keep writing new stuff consistently. So look out for my next project, "Untitled Project," coming January 20th, 2017. More or less.
